UF Health North primary care centers offer services for patients during every stage of life, from pediatrics to geriatrics. University of Florida College of Medicine–Jacksonville physicians work with physician assistants and advanced registered nurse practitioners in primary care centers in Duval, Clay, Nassau and Baker counties.

UF Health General Medicine – North is led by Medical Director Silvia Read, MD, FACP.

Dr. Read provides adult primary care services as well as treatment for chronic and complex medical conditions. She is board-certified in internal medicine and fluent in English and Spanish.

Services offered include:

  • Annual checkups
  • Management of chronic conditions, such as diabetes, high blood pressure and heart disease
  • Physicals
  • Vaccinations, including flu and pneumonia shots
  • Additional services, such as joint injections and removal of skin tags

Led by Dr. Jennifer Knight, UF Health Pediatrics - North offers pediatric primary care services for newborns to adolescents and young adults, including well-child care, school and sports physicals, immunizations, and preventive health assessments with nutritional and developmental screenings. We also offer management of chronic medical issues such as allergies, asthma and childhood dermatological conditions, as well as medical care for acute childhood illnesses, such as colds, flu, fevers and minor trauma.
