Volunteering at UF Health North

Volunteer services at UF Health North hospital.

UF Health North is looking for dedicated, committed people to join our team of volunteers. In addition to the joy that you will receive from helping others, you can:

  • Spend your free time productively
  • Form lasting friendships
  • Broaden your skills and knowledge
  • Explore career opportunities
  • Meet school community service requirements

Why Volunteer?

By volunteering at our state of the art hospital, you can work alongside dedicated University of Florida faculty physicians and other professional staff as they meet the health care needs of our patients. Perhaps you would like to volunteer in our gift shop or as a patient escort.

Volunteers are assigned to many different departments at UF Health North based on availability, interests, skill and abilities. Patient contact is available for those who prefer it, or you may choose to work behind the scenes. Whatever your interest or special skills are, we have exciting and challenging opportunities for you.

In addition to the joy one receives from helping others, volunteers receive a free meal from our cafeteria during each four-hour shift. Free flu shots are also available to volunteers during flu season each year.

You can be sure that at UF Health North, you will make a difference!
